Scholars Kent is one-to-one GCSE tutoring led by a current A Level student - close enough to the exam room to know exactly what the mark scheme rewards, and patient enough to explain it properly.
Every single student who completed the academic year with Scholars Kent achieved a pass.
Measured across all subjects, compared to each student's most recent mock grade.
One student sat Foundation Maths twice before, stuck on a Grade 3 both times. He joined Scholars Kent after that second attempt, and on his third and most recent GCSE, he finally passed with a Grade 5.

- The Scholars Kent approach
Most tutors sat their GCSEs years, sometimes decades, ago. Scholars Kent is run by an A Level student who moved through the current specifications recently enough to know exactly where students lose marks - and exactly how to get them back.
Tell us the exam board and current grade, and sessions are planned around it from the first lesson.
Foundation and Higher tier, from number and algebra to statistics.
Language and Literature, from unseen texts to essay technique.
Biology, Chemistry and Physics, including required practicals.
Separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics for triple award students.
A short call or message to understand the subject, exam board, and where marks are currently being lost.
Sessions are mapped to the actual syllabus and past papers for that student's exam board.
One-to-one tutoring, in person across Kent or online, at a pace set by the student.
Regular past-paper practice and mark-scheme review in the run-up to results day.
"Thank you so much to you and Claudette (Scholars Kent Tutor). We are absolutely over the moon with Zack's Grade 5 in his Maths resit. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to everyone I know! So very happy"
